Bryan Buckley
Alejandra is an experienced Costume Designer and Wardrobe Stylist with more than 13 years in the film industry she loves to experiment and has the ability to transform her visions into reality on screen and editorial pages. Her priority is to help the director and actor find the character and make it ring as true as possible whether that truth is in a gummy world or in the 1800’s in Europe.
She has worked in productions of all kinds including features, commercials, web series, short films, music videos, photo shoots and more.
She is originally from Monterrey, Mexico (north Mexico) where she grew up with traditional values and principles from her single mother, she moved to Mexico City by 13 y.o.
She travels to California frequently where her mother live now for near 20 years, she enjoys traveling as a teenager to European countries where her view of the world make her perspective more ample and where her intuitive personality and artistic eye was developed.
Alejandra's skills include: costume construction, period costumes, sewing, dyeing and distressing, attention to detail, budgeting, experience in management of creative teams, shopping/returning, and all areas of costume design management.
She is hard working and has a “can do” personality, she works well under pressure on budget and on time.
She also owns and operate a full warehouse of hundreds of costumes previously used on other projects, available immediately to speed any other project saving time and money.
